Sentinel-1D Mating on Launch Vehicle Adapter

On Thursday, the Sentinel-1D spacecraft, attached to its payload adapter, was removed from the CCU3 within the Ariane Encapsulation Facility (EFA). Subsequently, it was lifted by crane and installed onto the launch vehicle adapter.

The photos captured are truly remarkable! We had never witnessed the spacecraft being lifted so high by the crane before.
