Sentinel-1D final Simulations before Launch

On Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th October the Sentinel-1D Team in ESOC underwent the Final Simulations prior to the launch, These simulations step through the nominal timeline and are crucial to prepare the teams for the real Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) which is hopefully only just over a week away.

The photos captured are of the teams in action in the Mission Control Room (MCR) and the Project Support Room (PSR) in our centre of operations (ESOC), Darmstadt, Germany.

Let’s meet these truly amazing people who will get our Spacecraft into the right orbit and fully stabilised for us to begin the Commissioning.
