On Sunday 3rd November most of the team took the opportunity to visit the beautiful Islands close to Kourou namely the “l’île Royale” and “l’île Saint-Joseph”. These are also close to the famous “l’île du diable” or Devil’s Island featured on the prison film Papillon. This island cannot be visited but can be seen from Catamaran which was used to transport everyone to the islands.
