Satellite Security Officer\Sentinel-1 LEOP Manager
David is the Security Officer for the Sentinel-1C (S1C) Campaign. As a core member of the campaign team, he is responsible for the security of the S1C spacecraft, ensuring it remains uncompromised during its entire stay in Kourou—from arrival to encapsulation in the fairing. David’s duties involve close coordination with site security and mission teams to maintain strict safety protocols throughout the pre-launch phase.
Additionally, David serves as the LEOP (Launch and Early Orbit Phase) Manager. In this role, he oversees all activities required for a successful LEOP, ensuring that the teams are in place, adequately prepared, and equipped to address any potential challenges during the initial phase of the mission. David works closely with the mission control team and other key personnel to uphold the highest standards of operational readiness.
